We really didn’t need many more reasons to doubt the worth in human weight of Westgate billionaire noisemaker David Siegel – he has, after all, been courting scandal forever, and was made to look a total fool in that Queen of Versailles docu-takedown – but when he, like other simpering rich people, decided to threaten his employees if they happened to vote Democrat in the 2012 elections, he crept just a notch further up our “hate you” list. Add to that the fact that Siegel, who bragged of his profits despite Obamanization, couldn’t even be bothered to craft his own letter to his staffers, but rather plagiarized one from online rumor debunker snopes.com (“My motivation to work and to provide jobs will be destroyed, and with it, so will your opportunities. If that happens, you can find me in the Caribbean sitting on the beach, under a palm tree, retired, and with no employees to worry about,” the letter read), and now we can’t help but laugh at him. Well done, Siegel. You just keep getting worse.
