Images from O-Town: Kissimmee Rain Cube

Who knew that Kissimmee had $725,000 to spend on public art? Well, environmental sculpture artist Jefrė Manuel of Studio Jefrė – a.k.a. Jefrė – won the bid for his wet 'n'  wild "Rain" – a 30-foot cube-shaped fountain that's the centerpiece for the Kissimmee City Commission's $25 million Lakefront Park redevelopment project.

On Wednesday, Jefrė opened Blank Space Art Lounge near Lake Eola.

Thanks for posting this image! I traveled down to Kissimmee City Hall twice, attempting to see the model for this piece, unsuccessful both times. It’s only costing $725,000 but looks cooler than Lake Eola Fountain.
