10-year-old Orlando girl describes how she kicked gator's ass

"I looked in the water and there was a mean, 9-foot gator biting my leg," said 10-year-old Juliana Osso in an interview with Inside Edition.

Last Saturday, May 6, Osso was swimming in about a foot of water at Lake Mary Jane in Orange County's Moss Park when a large gator latched onto her leg.

She then gave the unsuspecting gator a variation of what's referred to in the wrestling community as the "fishhook."

"The alligator grabbed my leg. I tried hitting it to let it release me, but it didn't work, said Osso to Inside Edition. "I thought of what they taught me at Gatorland, so I put my two fingers up its nostrils, it couldn't breathe, so it had to breathe through its mouth. It opened its mouth and let my leg out."

She then described how this sad gator had zero counter moves to her dominating fishhook. "The gator didn't do anything because he was too busy biting my leg and too busy with his claws in the sand," she said. "He didn't have any attack moves to take out my fingers."

The gator was later captured and killed.

The staff at Gatorland sent their "thoughts and prayers out to Juliana and her family" in a recent video posted to the park's Facebook page.
