This morning SeaWorld Orlando released a few details on a new water ride called Infinity Falls, which they say will be the "world's tallest river rapids drop."

According to SeaWorld, the ride will take guests down a class IV jungle river before dumping them over a 40-foot waterfall.

We wrote about the possibilities of a new raft ride back in February, and pointed out that the attraction would likely be built near the former Hospitality House, now home to the Pass Member Lounge. However, SeaWorld has yet to say where exactly the ride will be located.

With a height restriction of 42 inches, the new water ride will be considered a family ride.
"We are constantly looking at new ways to amaze our guests – Infinity Falls will do that, and more," said Jim Dean, president of SeaWorld Orlando Parks, in a statement. "From the excitement of the thrilling rapids, to the unique vertical lift element, it will be an adventure that appeals to the entire family. Infinity Falls continues our commitment to investing in our park, and developing new ways to entertain and inspire our guests with meaningful, fun-filled vacations."

The ride is expected to be completed by the summer of 2018.
