Swine & Sons announced their Dog Days of Summer menu today, a celebration of hot dogs and cold beer that offers eight different gourmet dogs. And as always, you can order online at swineandsons.com
Preparations include the Nashville "Hot" Dog with bread & butter pickles, hot spice and potato chips tossed in white barbecue sauce, and the Carolina Hog Dog, topped with mustard barbecue pulled pork, coleslaw and spicy pork rinds (chicharrons? Yes plz). All are built on Swine & Sons' house-made ribeye hot dog.
None of this answers the age-old debate of whether a hot dog is a sandwich
, of course, but who really cares when you can bite a dog this tasty?
National Hot Dog Day is today, but the dog days are here for the summer. Not just the proverbial "dog days," which in Florida can last until Thanksgiving or so, but Swine & Sons' Dog Days, which means: awesome wieners all summer long.
