A group of fishermen at the Naples Pier accidentally caught a massive smalltooth sawfish April 28, reports the Naples Daily News
Although it's not known how big the creature was, the video shows that it was too large for the fishermen to reel up, forcing them to bring it to shore in order to try and remove the hook.
Smalltooth sawfish are the only Florida-based sawfish species, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
, and they're known to grow up to 18 feet.
Sawfish sightings are pretty rare. They've been on the endangered species list since 2003.
