No, not the kind that's battered and deep-fried. The kind that's still alive.
reports that's what workers at a Wendy's restaurant east of Loxahatchee experienced when a Jupiter man allegedly flung an alligator through the drive-thru window, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
The gator incident happened in October, but Joshua James was arrested by the U.S. Marshals recently. FWC officials say the 24-year-old admitted to picking up the gator on the side of the road and bringing it to the restaurant. Once he got to Wendy's, James "pulled up for his order, and after a server handed over a drink and turned around James reached into the back of his truck and tossed the 3-and-a-half foot gator through the drive-thru window," WPTV 5
says. FWC officials say the animal was put back into a nearby canal.
His parents told WPTV 5
that James was a "stupid kid" who did a "stupid prank." Apparently, officials did not think the same because they charged James with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession and transportation of an alligator.
Ever had gator and fries?
