Many have fantasized about Walt Disney having himself cryogenically preserved (which never happened), but few have gone quite as far as writer/director Benjamin Lancaster and the oddball comedy "The Further Adventures of Walt's Frozen Head."

In the film, Walt Disney's cryogenically preserved head gets thawed once a year to oversee company operations and protect his creative legacy. Disney's head then demands to be taken above ground to see Walt Disney World, but the management refuses.

Peter, a low-level Disney employee, is recruited by Disney's head to kidnap him and show him the park. Then, the unlikely duo spends the day galavanting around Magic Kingdom.

Much of the film was shot at Magic Kingdom without Disney's permission under the codename "The Florida Project", which is the same codename used while building Walt Disney World. The shots where Disney's head is cryogenically preserved were filmed at Orlando Brewing Company. More shooting is scheduled to take place in the Orlando area.

Although set to release in 2017, promotion for the film began as early as last year with the parody Twitter account @waltsfrzenhead. From the perspective of Disney's cryogenically preserved head, the account tweets about Disney parks, films and general news.
