Less than a week after showing interest in Cristiano Ronaldo
, Orlando City is now in talks with Paris Saint-Germain superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
According to MLSSoccer.com
, Orlando City is hoping to add the Swedish striker to their 2016 roster.
Back in July, Ibrahimovic told Yahoo News
that he was interested in finishing his career in the U.S. "I would like to play in U.S., absolutely. I would like to play. Which team? Am I allowed to say that? No, I cannot say that. I think it would be an amazing experience. I see that soccer is growing a lot in U.S. I mean, I was here 10 years ago [and] soccer was not on the level that it is today, but it's growing. It's growing in the right direction and I want it to be on the level of Europe. It will come here."
However, at the time, the 34-year-old also said the only cities he wanted to play in are Miami, Los Angeles and New York.
Bleacher Report's Jonathan Johnson claims that Ibrahimovic (who, is currently PSG's all-time leading scorer) has already agreed on personal terms with Orlando City.
Orlando City has reportedly also been in talks with other big-name players like Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez and Brazilian wingman Robinho.
