Cupcake goddess Hollis Wilder
(of Sweet! By Holly fame) has acquired the sadly inactive Yum Yum Cupcake Truck, which hasn’t rolled since Joey and Alex sold up and moved to Philly. Wilder will rebrand the vintage silver wagon as Sweet Wheels, and we hope to see it soon again at food truck gatherings.

opened Monday, Aug. 17 – this one on International Parkway in Lake Mary.
Cork & Fork
officially opens Friday, Sept. 18, in the former Belle Isle Bayou space on
oops, Conway Road. The "Freshtaurant" will serve classic favorites (deviled eggs, fried chicken, meatloaf, fish & chips) alongside some fresh new bites (IPA mussels, cauliflower steak, watermelon & feta salad, mango-shortbread pie).
Brianto’s Original Hoagies
opens its second sub shop, this one in Waterford Lakes, later this month. We recommend the cheesesteak supreme hoagie – a beefy sub with lettuce, tomato, raw onions and a splash of oil, vinegar and mayo, instead of the requisite onions, green peppers and mushrooms. But don't skip the sharp provolone and Cheez Whiz.
French revolution: La Madeleine Country French Café
moves into Florida Mall’s revamped food court, the Dining Pavilion (alongside other new tenants El Meson, Spoleto, Bubbleology and more), as well as taking over the freestanding former Mimi’s Cafe space near the Mall at Millenia.
Down the road: Osceola County will see an influx of Parrotheads when the Margaritaville Resort
opens in 2017. The condo/hotel development near Disney's Animal Kingdom will include 175 to 300 rooms, a lake with a dedicated beach area, a water park, a “lagoon-sized” pool, a “FinCity” arcade, a "St. Somewhere Spa," a planetarium, a "Son of a Sailor" fishing school, paddleboarding and kayaking – but, oddly enough, no actual Margaritaville Restaurant, so you'll have to keep driving to Universal Citywalk for those cheeseburgers in paradise.
