Today, Mayor Buddy Dyer got on a bike (yes, he was wearing a helmet) for the cameras to announce the launch of Orlando Bike Share, the city's new bike rental program operated by Cyclehop. The rental program lets people become who members of the bike share (you have to have a credit card and be 18 years of age and older) rent bikes from various stations around town for a small fee – you can rent for $5 per hour, or you can buy a monthly membership beginning at $15 per month, which gets you an hour a day every day, or $20 per month for which you can get up to two hours per day.

There are currently 20 bikes available at five hubs close in and around downtown Orlando.
