Orlando Museum of Art's current major exhibition, Rembrandt, Rubens, Gainsborough and the Golden Age of Painting, is on loan from the Speed Art Museum, Louisville, Ky. It's a big, beautiful tangle of religious art, still life, landscapes, portraits, and general scenes of everyday life in the period between 1600-1800. If this sounds intimidating, or boring, or just you're-gonna-have-to-try-harder-to-grab-my-attention to you, guess what else is on loan from the Speed: an audio guided tour you can stream on Soundcloud. Phone in your pocket, earbuds up, and wander the show at your own pace, allowing this I-think-French guy to drop knowledge on you about this crazy situation:

(hey guys, I think craps is illegal in Orlando); or this bustly bitch:

It's a circa-1700s selfie!

No word yet on whether this is something OMA will do with all of their major shows, but it's a nice addition to this one. Follow OMA on Soundcloud (/OrlandoMuseumofArt), and be sure to stop by before May 25, when the show moves on to its next stop.
