Last Saturday (September 7, 2013), the 2nd annual Pinupalooza convention drew an eye-catching combination of WWII-era calendar models and neo-burlesque punks to I-Drive's International Palms Resort for an all-day celebration of and pin-up art and classic strip-tease.
Pinupalooza was produced by Green Mustard Entertainment, best known for their anime conventions. The event attracted over 350 attendees, over double the number who came to last year's inaugural convention.
Vintage vehicles parked out front made for perfect photo-ops.
The posing continued inside the convention hall.
Even the mascot from Kings bowling alley got in on the act.
There were 2 vendor rooms.
Workshops included introductory bellydancing.
Entertainment activities included the Miss Pinupalooza Pagent.
Followed by a performance by the Swain Sumner Band.
