with Trevor Moore
The Plaza Live
425 N. Bumby Ave.
Since IFC stopped airing the Whitest Kids U’Know in 2011, the sketch comedy troupe by appearances seemed to amicably disband, with members Trevor Moore going solo with “Drunk Texts to Myself,” and Sam Brown recently catfishing with new troupe D.I.R.T. Comedy. But each new venture was unleashed with an important asterisk: WKUK is still alive! And now they’re on a three-month tour that proves it. Along with them come a slew of their most popular characters, hopefully including Abraham Lincoln, whom they cast as the everyday stoners’ hopeful savior in the Civil War on Drugs. Whether you remember them best for rollin’ joints with dinosaurs or reimagining the Kool-Aid Man as a much more forceful adversary, their award-winning comedy is likely to win you over live, and as a bonus, Trevor Moore will be performing songs from his aforementioned new album, out March 26 on Comedy Central Records. – Ashley Belanger
